PAOLO MARCHI, founder and curator

Paolo Marchi was born in Milan on March, 20 1955. Son of Rolly, writer and journalist, who conceived the Mickey Mouse ski Trophy, and Graziella, painter, he is sports journalist of the newspaper Il Giornale where he has been responsible for the column Cibi Divini for more than ten years and for the page Affari di Gola for more than seven years now.

Over the years, he edited the book of recipes for the Eye Institute of the Fatebenefratelli Hospital in Milan, the volumes Dessert al piatto, Don Alfonso, Sushi Susci and Pesce alle stele for Biblioteca Culinaria, Cento per cento ricette di talento for the publishing house Cucina&vini as well as the guides Milano da gustare and Tutto pesce which recently saw its fourth edition published by Gribaudo-Il Gusto.

He has followed the works of the Italian section of the Association Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe from the very beginning, he co-operates with different national magazines among which Civiltà del Bere and Gente Viaggi. Married with Luisa, he is the father of Brando and Viola. Out of tune from birth, he never got his University degree and in his free time he loves cooking risotto with onions for his friends.

MAGENTAbureau has been established by Claudio Ceroni in June 2006, with the purpose of consolidating and developing the commercial, organizational and editorial activities which can be reconnected to Identità Golose and the phenomenon of Haute Cuisine in Italy and abroad.
In this new activity, Claudio Ceroni concentrates and exploits the experience gained over almost twenty years of activity focused on the creation of important events and television programs within his previous company Newton in Milan.
